ABOUT YOUR VISIT TO PETRA ISLAND, MAHOPAC, NY
This one of a kind tour includes guided access to both the Chahroudi House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright as the guest cottage for the later built, Massaro House. Wright was commissioned by the Chahroudi family and asked to build his masterpiece, with no financial restraint. After experiencing some issues with the town, the Chahroudi’s convinced Wright to design the guest cottage, which would be built first, while FLW was alive to approve it, and the main home to be built later. The Massaro House is one of FLW’s only design that was built after his death, on the exact location it was intended for.
TOUR PRICING
$150 per person. Children 12 and older are welcome.
Tours are semi-private and guided by a member of the Massaro Family.
Tours include both the Chahroudi House, the Massaro House and a short walk of the grounds.
Refunds are available up to 30 days prior to your scheduled tour.
Rescheduling is available up to 7 days prior to your event date.

ACCESSIBILITY
This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Petra Island Tours run rain or shine. The boat has a roof and rain poncho’s will be provided in the case of light rain.
In the event of severe inclement weather, an opportunity to reschedule your visit will be made available.
Refunds will be offered on a case by case basis if we cancel the tour for unsafe weather conditions.
